Hmmm. I just install the free WeDict version from App Store then add Merriam Webster from Cydia (didn't add any sources). The in WeDict settings check the selected dictionaries.

After my complete restore yesterday, I was unable to re-install WeDict from the App Store. An email to Apple Support resulted in Apple offering WeDict Pro as a free replacement.

    However,
Cons: Merriam Webster (via Cydia) not compatible
    Pros: Word Pronunciation

Personally, I would prefer the free WeDict because I can add Merriam Webster. But .... what to do!?! Live with the changing times, I guess.

Update: I searched around Google and found Merriam Webster as a downloadable dictionary for WeDict Pro (and free ).

Update 2: After working with the Pro version for awhile now, I've noticed the default WordNet dictionary is much larger and extensive than before (free version). It's even broader than Merriam Webster. JMHO
