Kindly note ...i bought latest updated firmware iphone (2.5) from my friend ...and i try to backup the phone with itune , but suddenly i got the error message and advise restore to factory setting ,therefore i pressed restore button from itune ......after sometime the phone continuously in "verifing the software" and also i get the attached image on the phone display....pls help me to come out of this ...tks a lot in advance

Firmware 2.5 is not out yet, i think we'll probably see 2.3 and 2.4 before 2.5 unless there is a major update....check your firmware again and i think your phone needs to be activated...use quickpwn 2.2 to jailbreak and unlock if your phone is 2G and use yellowsn0w 0.9.6 in cydia to unlock the iphone if it's the 3G version.
