Default Windows Live Mail (PLEASE READ)

I have an email address for school that looks like "[email protected]"

Can I access this mail account through the iPhone's mail?

    Any help is appreciated.

Is that an exchange server address? If so, then yes....BUT....

Can you access the email outside of school? Like at home on your PC.

Depending on how their network is setup, sometimes its an internal address (only accessible at school).

How can I tell if its an exchange server? I can access the account anywhere on any computer.

To answer the thread subject -- for those who have a real HotMail / Windows Live account, access is available only to premium email users (19.95/yr) or older accounts (> 2 years I think). Free email accounts created in the last 2yrs (appx) are denied iPhone email access (POP/Outlook/Outlook Express, etc) without upgrading to a paid status. Uggg
