No sounds?????

I was using my iphone today listening to pandora through my ear buds like i always do at work. But today i dont know what happen i get no sounds even with the earbuds out of it...when some one calls it does ring but when i get a text it just vibrates also no clicking of buttons and none of my apps games make noise either but they still do when earbuds are plugged in..i checked all my settings and nothing was turned off. so i turned off the phone and turned it back on and still nothing any suggestions?

ok sorry i found where this was being discussed and after reseting all settings with no success i tried just turning it off for a while then i tried hooking my headphones back in and pulling it in and out quickly and pausing before i pull them out...well now pandora works through speakers and somehow my you tube works with sound but still no sound on any other apps or messageing need help please.

DFU Restore and re-jailbreak. Test it again without installing ANY apps. If it's still broken it's a hardware failure.
