iPhone 3g and new iPod Touch syncing with 2 pc's?

is there a way to ultimatly sync with 2 pc's ( home and work) and not be greeted with that error saying either you dont sync or you do and you loose everything.
my boss has the new ipod touch. i have the new iphone. we both have the same questions and i have no idea what the right answer is.
i have searched on google and found no simple solution.
please send me to the right place or help me get this resolved. thanks!~!!
