Default Help using iPhone as portable memory

I looked through the forum and can't seem to find what I am needing. There was a similar question but the OP got beat up pretty good. Obviously I have a need for this so please don't tell me it's stupid and just use a stick. A number of us have iPhones and Ipod Touches so there are sync cables at all the computers. no on to the question Thank you.

I transfer a good number of files bewteen my laptop and work PC and currently use a usb stick but there are days I forget the stick.
The work PC is locked down so its pretty much crippled. When the phone is connected to charge the Windows Autoplay window pops up.

Thank you in advance for your help.

There are few apps in the app store that can be used to transfer files onto the iphone then back to a pc. Air Sharing, Folder, Discover. They all use wifi to transfer files to and from iphone. Even one called Memory Stick..
