IPhone 2.2 2g very odd problems!

Hi!

Since upgrading to 2.2 firmware on my iphone 2g I have had some very odd problems:

During a phone call - the backlight will go off - infact the whole screen turns off - I can still communicate with the person but only way to hangup is to click the button on top of the phone! Eventually the screen comes back up!?

Anyone else had this - how do i solve it!

^Are you sure it's not just the proximity sensor? Move it far away from your person when done talking and see if the screen pops back on...

no i tried that - thought it may be but definitely isnt.

Okay, just wasn't sure if you were unfamiliar with how it worked... Unfortunately, I don't know what it could be now. Sorry...

You can always try a restore, however.
