Constant springboard crash into safe mode, help please!

I went through the whole process of the software unlock w/ my 16g 3g & everything went perfect. I backed all my cydia apps up w/ aptback up & restored them all. My phone was working flawlessly before I did the 3g unlock, but now w/ the exact same apps running it constantly crashes the springboard into safe mode. I read that I should delete mobile substrate, does anyone know if this is true, or have any other suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.

I am not using cate, or intelliscreen... Just basically winterboard, SB settings, pref docs. Always have been & never had these issues. Thanks again.

Some people have problem with mobile substrate&some people dont.So if you have problems with it,just uninstall it from cydia.

yeah I read that, & since I was using a custom ipsw on 2.2 before I restored yesterday & unlocked w/ yellowsn0w, I can only assume that it possibly was somehow not in cydia that was included in the custom file I previously used. Thanks for the insight.

im pretty new to the whole cydia world....but im haveing the same problem i wasnt haveing any problems until about 2 days ago is constantly crashes

That happens when an app you downloaded from cydia is not installed right. Just uninstall all the apps you hadn't installed on your phone when it worked fine.

I just finished jailbreaking my iphone 3g and everything went perfect, installed ultrasn0w, installed my new tmobile sim, works great except that when I try to text message from the contact list, it crashes to safe mode. I haven't installed any cydia apps yet, so I don't know what could be the issue. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
