im planning on buying an iphone to use in Canada, but was wondering if there are any specific things i should be looking for when buying it. I want to buy a sealed one so it would be locked (but from reading around they seem very easy to unlock).
Should i buy a specific firmware (1.1.3 vs 1.1.4), a specific bootloader or anything like that?
Or just take the cheapest one I can get then upgrade myself?

Im asking because if its like the slvr (my last phone) then you gotta be careful about which one you get.
