Problem With Upgrading
i have a iPhone 2G version 1.4 and really want to update to version 2 or 2.2...
i've tried following a lot of tutorials on the internet but they didnt work...
so far these are the files i already downloaded while trying out some tutorials:
-iPhone1,1_1.1.4_4A102_Restore
-winpwn
-bootloaders
-iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347_Custom_Restore
-iPhone1,1_2.2_5G77_Restore
-quickpwn22
i used Ziphone to crack the 1.4 version, if that makes any difference...
can someone plz explain how to do it? i spent 7hrs yesterday trying to upgrade but had no luck... really sucks since i have really slow connection (abt 7kbs) so u can imagine how angry i got after downloading all those files and spending all that time but had no luck...
oh and i use windows vista

Just connect to itunes and it will ask you if you want to upgrade to the newest version. After upgrading run quickpwn which will jailbreak the phone for you. Done.
