i'm a new iphone user comming from a blackberry.
anywho is there a way to keep certin apps running in the background?
like AIM seems like it disconnects everytime i exit out.
also the blackberry used to be fast at getting emails, the iphone will only get them every 15 min. anyway to speed that up?

if you jailbreak then in cydia there's a backgrounder which is pretty good. you just hold the home button until it tells you its going to be running in the background and thats it. i use it mostly with pandora. turn on the radio put it in the background and then i can go on safari or do whatever else i need to do.

as far as the email push imo its apple who needs to fix that. nothing you can really do except for wait for a fix from them. at least as far as i know.
