    Default iPhone 3G not restoring

Hey guys, I am trying to restore my iPhone 3G but it is not restoring. It is already in recovery mode but when I click restore after a few mins it says '' iPhone could not be restored. An unkown error has occured (13). '' I dont know what to do, I have tried everything and I have checked everywhere but it just says to put the phone in recovery mode. When I turn on the phone I get the USB with the arrow pointing to iTunes picture. Any help is GREATY appreciated.

Try a DFU restore. If you're in recovery mode already do this:
    1. Hold home for 5 seconds
    2. Continue to hold home and press power for 10 seconds
    3. Let go of power ONLY (iphone screen should be completely black)
    4. Wait 10-15 seconds and iTunes should detect the phone
    5. Hit restore.

If the screen has ANYTHING on it at all you are not in DFU mode. Start over.

Hey I did that when the phone was on the USB->iTunes pic. Screen went black and everything but it still said the same thing: '' iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes '' and then I get the error again that it couldnt be restored. This all started yesterday... I bought a new iPhone 3G and wanted to jailbreak it with Quikpwn 2.2 so it said I had to restore the phone and when I tried to restore this is what started happening. I am trying to restore to the file it said to download ''iPhone1,2_2.2_5G77_Restore'' maybe this is the problem?
