Default Gotta few questions on getting a Iphone and what my course of action should be

SO hands down i want a iphone. I got the ipod touch .... and its not enough. Im not too amused with AT&T asi am a die hard verizon fan So..... Here are my questions
Witch is better iPhone or Iphone 3G
Can the 3g be jail broke? Is it easy to do?
WHen you jail break lets say with Quickpwn does that Unlock your phone to other carriers as well?
If so how do i go about running a iphone and or can a Iphone 3g run on lets say t-mobile? I just cant bring it in the store can i? Will the data or 3G network work with them or will i be back to wifi? What are the pros and cons of going to a thrid party vendor for service and how diffacult and limitation will i have on the Iphone or Iphone 3g? Would i still be able to access the app store cydia installer and would it function appropriatly? Would htere be any half relable data network with tmobile so i can use the locate me feature ect?
    Thanks in advance

Well I also prefer the Iphone 3g Especially because I can access the internet from almost anywhere at faster speed because at 2g service the wait is forever.

I do not know about AT&T but I used Optus, a carrer from Australia and the Quickpwn seemed to work fine with it and it is very easy and simple took me about 20 minutes in all to hack it but a little longer to sync and find the files Such as the Bootloader 3.9 and 4.6 lol

WHen you use the iphone you can choose between the Wifi and and data network. I don't really know exactly what "will the data or 3G network work with them or will i be back to wifi?" this question means but yeah I hope thats the awnser your looking for

Cydia will work fine after you hack the iphone 3g but it's probably just me but I think your iphone 3g laggs a little bit after you get installing with all the 3rd party apps lol but yeah it sure as hell is worth it!

Yes if you have a T-Mobile DATA plan, you can use EDGE, not 3G. iPhone can't get 3G from Tmobile (cause it doesnt have it )

All the apps will work the same, assumming you put in the right APN info when you do jailbreak and unlock the phone.

Location services are limited on the 1st/2nd gen iPhone because its lack of a GPS. The iphone 3G has GPS, so apps that require location based services will run better, and GPS is really useful, especially when you travel alot.

Anyways keep posting questions if they arent asnwered yet!
