I've spent an entire week trying to fix the following problem:
When I connect to WIFI (using Linksys BEFW11S4 802.11b router) I can't search/download anything from the app store. When I search an app. it just says "Loading" and nothing happens. After few minutes, I get the following error:
"Cannot Connect to iTunes Store"
Interestingly, I can search and download apps when:
-I am using EDGE
or
-I am using someone someone else's WIFI
I have an Unlock/Jailbroken 1st gen. T-mobile iPhone (Firmware 2.0).
Can anyone help me fix this problem?
If it works on someone else's wifi and not on yours. There seems to be an issue with your router / wifi setup. Rested the network settings in your iphone and delete all saved wifi networks. What security are you using on your wifi?
Currently, my security mode is set to "WPA Pre-shared Key." However, I have also tried it with the other two security modes (WEP and WPA RADIUS), and it didn't work with those either!
I have reset my network setting as well. No change!
Any other suggestions?
