Photo on Dialer

On the IPHONE TV Commericail when they get a call they show the persons pic in a small icon on the top right

how do you do that

when I get a call the pic shows up on the whole screen in the background

it was like that in the early versions 1.00 1.0.1 and i think 1.0.2

I actually had that pop up a couple of times on different calls using 1.1.2. I had no idea why it happened. Either I was placing a call or one came in with the early layout.
