Hi all i have an Iphone 3G upgraded to 2.2 yesterday, after unlocking with yellowsn0w, i tried making calls, but realised that the head speaker made no sound, the person at the other end can hear me, which means the mouthpiece is working fine. I tested the speakerphone and earphone mode, both worked flawlessly.

I know there is a similar known issue, but this one is different, i think it might be hardware problem, as i did open up the phone to get the sim card out (the simcard got stuck before) and maybe messed up some of the cables inside. I am most curious about these two cables here pictured (1) and (2).



What are these plugs for? any connection to audio? are there any detailed iphone 3g diagram out there?
