The Sim card on this iphone does not appeear to be supported

Help. I just restored my 2g iphone which was with version 1.1.1 to the newest version with 2.2

I followed all the steps and restoring the ispw file or something but now when I plug it into itunes thats what it says please help I hope I didn't brick it !!!

you just need to quickpwn it jailbreak and unlock it should be fine after that

But how do I quickpwn it or restore it when it doesn't let me go into itunes to where I can restore it with the custom firmware?

Quickpwn doesn't use a custom firmware. Download quickpwn 2.2 from our download section and run it.. it's extremely self explanatory once you get into it.
