Legitimate Question?

Hi, i live in the UK and i have a original iphone (NOT 3g) and it is unlocked to O2-UK pay and go.........and jailbroken 2.0, what i wanted to know is, can i be on legitimate pay and go with o2 beacuse in UK iphone 3g's are now availible on pay and go, id love it if i could have my original iphone on legit pay and go..... is this possible?

Hi, I also live in the UK and originally owned the 8 gb iPhone. When I up-graded to the 16 gb 3G in the summer I gave my old iPhone to my wife. It was jailbroken and unlocked and she did not want to up-grade to an iphone SIM. She simply put her normal contract o2 SIM in and everything works great for her

Now interestingly, I got offered five three pay as you go SIM cards by o2 and I put one of them in my wife's iPhone, and it is working great

Put in your o2 sim card and activate it in itunes, as it says on the o2 site you linked to

Just try it without restoring and see what happens. Then I'll hire someone to come clean up the mess.
