Good luck with your iPhone. I hope you can still get it fixed.

I, on the other hand, have been lucky enough with the iPod sound dock I use with my iPhone. I've been using it to charge my phone for a whole month now and the iPhone isnt fried. I hope it stays that way !!

i wouldnt do that anymore if i were you just to be safe ive read that the sound docks put out far more wattage to the iphone than to the ipod...which is why it blew mine up

ah really ?? hmmm... this means i might have to shell out money to get a brand new charger (my wall charger doesnt work) if that's the case. thought i would be in the clear since it hasnt done anything to it at all but maybe i am pushing my luck here. will keep what you said in mind though.
