water damaged iphone..
does a simple logic board switch do the job to water damaged iphones?

if your still under your warrentu you can get it replaced because the same thing happened to me and I very carefully put white out over the water mark and I got a new iPhone

isn't the sessnors in the headphone jack, surely replace the headphone jack?

The logicboard is the LAST thing that gets wet and/or fried. So, if its damages then most likely your headphone jack/flex cable is toast, also the flex cable/dock assembly may be toast....etc, etc. The battery could be fried. Only way to tell is open it up and start probing it.
