hmm... i wouldn't go as far as to say that there was a "Linux OS" booted on the iphone.. there was a linux kernel booted on the iphone, but it was commandline from the host pc.. no gui, no user functions at all from the phone.. it was a huge step in modding the iphone yes, but it's a linux kernel not a fully operational os...
plus, android would have to be as popular as windows xp, for them to consider a bootcamp, and the iphones proprietary firmware and os x, aren't really in the same ballpark when it comes to the end user.. unless apple decides to allow unsigned third party apps on to their os, i don't see a future for "bootcamp", from apple anyway.. the iphone dev team could have it done in a few months
