So are you saying you have tried restoring the phone to like out of the box.....

and WITHOUT PUTTING ANYTHING ON IT (apps, music, etc...syncing in other words) after the jailbreak process is done...it freezes?

Usually the problem is an app thats installed.....thats why you need to do it right after a clean restore.

Wrong. Just connect to iTunes and let it sit about 5-10 minutes and it should be at the homescreen or locked. Trust me i had the same problem and that was my solution. It can also be done if you have the SWOD.

Yeah i've tested that method along with countless other rhymes and reasons to what process in Quickpwn puts the phone into a endless boot probably over 50 times. With several different phones (alot of which I have repaired for people and gives me a chance to "experiment").

And what I explained to do is the ONLY one that works 100% of the time.

Anything else is more luck than method....if it worked for you thats great! It just saved you another restore.

My method does work 100% of the time. It fixed the SWOD when I tried installing something from installer a few months ago. But it's something that iTunes does to force it back to normal, and i ask you to please try my method, and to be honest I don't know how long it takes iTunes to do it's thing. I just let it sit come back in like 30 minutes and it's back to normal. So just try it and walk away for about 30 minutes and come back and it WILL be back to normal, and if I'm wrong, rub it in my face.

^Im not harping on your method by any means.....however, I have tried it a several different times....along with another method (close to this) (along with several other methods) which someone had luck with, which was to plug the phone into a wall charger and let it sit for a little while.

None worked consistantly if at all (in my experience), how many times has it worked for you?? I would gladly rather do that, then another restore, but again, it wont work for me.

And maybe my method can fail, although it hasnt yet....but anythings possible.

^I'll give it another go, next time im "in need". Could be a dozen reasons why I hasnt worked for me, maybe the version of Itunes had somethng to do with it....or the USB port on the PC....etc, etc.

^Ok. Well, thank you for trying my method, and i hope it works for you. Oh, and i don't think it is the version of iTunes, but like you said it could be many reasons.
