Turning on "speaker" during a call causes the call to fail....
Okay, this one has me flummoxed.
Never mind.... All this and it's a damn hardware failure. I just restored to 2.2 and the speaker is DOA on activation. Off to the Apple store in the afternoon.
Peace,

Oh, yes. I'm putting on my newbie look. Easy when you're 43 and just amazed at this new apple stuff.
I put on a kinda duh face and let the younguns show me up. Hehehe...
...and we're back. I've got a new iPhone. Seems that there was a hardware malfunction. The Genius Bar guy was very nice and patient with the "old guy". He dusted the phone, restored it and everything, but it was really broke.
So now, I'm sitting here wondering if I should jailbreak this puppy or just walk away happy.Last edited by OneRing2Rule; 12-29-2008 at 02:30 PM. Reason: the conclusion....
