Sending back iphone for an exchange
I'm sending back my 2g iphone w/ 2.2 firmware for an exchange. Can anyone tell me what I need to do? Do I just do the update to 2.2 again. Thanks.

Ok u mean u will take a new iphone from apple.U can do whenever u want.Also if u take a new one it in any case be 2.2... but
*For 2G 2.2 both jailbrake&unlock available
*for 3G 2.2 only jailbrake possible,unlock isnt available yet....

So, do I just do a reinstall on my iphone to like 2.2. Will they be able to tell if it was hacked?

Do a restore with itunes, then after that go to setting and then click erase all content and settings It takes a while but after that, you should be good to go.
