iTunes 8.0.2 and Cracked Apps

I recently had some issues with iTunes 8.0.1 crashing during sync and upgraded to iTunes 8.0.2. After the upgrade, the phone was synced and a transfer of applications was completed. When I checked my iPhone, I noticed that none of the cracked IPA applications transferred over. I uninstalled 8.0.2 and downgraded to iTunes 8.0.1, however, the IPA's still appear untransferrable. Is there a file that the upgrade has modified to "kill" the ipa capability of the cracked applications? How can I downgrade iTunes to 8.0.1 (the version where the cracked applications worked and transferred fine)? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Just to update our Warez policy. It's a matter of legality. MMi (Cash & fp) does not want to get sued... bottom line. In order to ensure this doesn't happen we have determined that it's allowed to discuss warez and installation methods. What is NOT ok is hosting cracked apps, linking to cracked apps, or telling people where to get them.

For example.. there is no problem with all the game emulators... there is no problem asking and posting detailed instructions on how to install ROMs which you will find all over this forum. What is NOT OK is hosting these ROMs... linking to these ROMs or telling someone the exact location of how to obtain these ROMs.

Hope this clears things up a bit.

Sure clears things up Poseidon. However, what a lot of people do not understand is that these developers spend countless hours creating these apps for people to have no consideration and steal them. I mean c'mon, most of these apps are just 99 cents.

On another note, many people believe that downloading the cracked apps is not a violation of copyright laws. It does not matter if you are cracking, uploading, or downloading, you are still breaking a federal law and will open yourself to the possibility of facing federal charges.

Do not ever believe that it will never happen to you, because sooner or later, you will be at the end of the bait.

wtf

you guys suck.

"Don't be a thief!"
"no warez support here buddy"
"I mean c'mon, most of these apps are just 99 cents"

But what about apps that are free but no longer offered.

What about apps that arent around anymore...

The developers are incapable of making any further profit.
These apps arent necessarily pirated because someone doesnt want to pay.
Get off your high horse and let someone else be the judge.
Some people just recognize that certain functions of the iPhone are being crippled
*Cough*TETHERING*Cough* by our oh so lovely ATT.
Even though tethering is not against the TOS for other providers...
