volume button broken

Out of the blue my volume up doesnt work.. i can turn the volume down but not up. any suggestions on how this can be fixed or what i can do?

All you can do is restore and start all over... if this doesn't fix it then you have a hardware issue which is only fixable by taking the phone apart and replacing the faulty part.. or sending it in for service.
