Default Selective restores, without jailbreak if possible...

Is there any way to "selectively" restore from iTunes backups? Like if I only want my SMSs and contacts restored, but nothing else, is there any way to do it through iTunes? Or some other way without having to jailbreak?

I know that with root access you can just save/restore the sms.db file, but I'm trying to avoid jailbreaking, it fills the backups with lots of bloat.

Does anybody know anything about this?

No sir, don't believe there's a way to do that.

However, what you can do (assuming you want a clean restored phone with only your SMS and contacts) is do a clean restore, then re-quickpwn, replace your things manually and backup in iTunes immediately after, and then restore again, but from your backup this time.

This should give you a semi-clean phone, jailbreak-free. Good luck!
