    Default Help

    Hi iam a huge newb i have a jailbroke 2g iphone and i wanna restore to how it was but i dont know how any help would be great. i heard i could just plug it into my computer and it will restore it no problem but iam worried about lossing contacts that i have put on my phone that have not been saved into my itunes.

    Just backup your phone in itunes first. Then restore. After, sync to your backup.

    thank you but hooking it up to my computer it wont mess my phone up iam just worried i know i sound like a complete wuss.

    Make sure you uninstall a lot of your third-party applications before making a backup, too. It could save you a lot of time/stress in the future. Get it as close to stock as you can, I'd recommend.
