for some reason i cant get any service. wifi works but no edge, calls, or texts. i've tried 2.2, 2.1, 2.0.2, and i've even went back to 1.1.4 its a 2g. under settings then general my network says not available. is there something i'm doing wrong? im on at&t so it shouldnt have to be unlocked but still nothing.
nevermind i flashed a custom firmware and that did the trick.

You need to check what baseband your running because you probably messed something up by downgrading like that. You cant downgrade, if you do...you will get no service.
