    Default when turning of the camera i get a pink screen

    Hi,
    My 16Gb 1st gen iphone showing pink screen when i'm turn on the camera application. any type of camera application.

    does anyone have an idea what is wrong ? beside, everything works perfectly.

    ANY phone application? sounds like you may have a hardware issue then if its all camera applications

    thats what i'm afraid of.
    everything works smoothly, all ok...but when i turn on the camera - i get a pink screen.

    does it happand to someone else ?

    try a video application like cycorder from cydia and then get back to us on it

    well, still pink...but i can see now shades inside the pink.
    when i'm appointing it to my hand, i manage (hardly) to see my fingures in different shades of pink.

    hardware issue. if you want just do a full restore to factory settings and then take it in to apple and show them. see if they will replace it

    It's part of the motherboard near the sim tray that has a bad tracer on it, it seems to be something that happens enough to be a common issue now days. it is indeed a mobo issue

    I've got the same thing, but I'm on tmobile. Will they check for a phone number or just an applecare #?

    about 10 min before leaving for the apple store mine fixed itself, weird.

    Hi,
    I sold mine iphone without fixing it...i tried and tried without success.
