    Default Frozen IPhone 2G

    my friend had a jailbroken/unlocked iphone 2g with 1.4 and tried to upgrade it to the new 2.0 upgrade. in the process it bricked the iphone. anyway to fix this?? i tried plugging it into my comp and see if itunes can recognize it and nothing.

    Download a custom firmware from the jailbreaking thread. It's a sticky. Put it in DFU mode. Do a Shift+Restore and choose the custom firmware.

    I took a 1.4 unlocked and went to 2.2 in itunes and had no issues.
