any other way to jailbreak 2g 2.2 without quickpwn on windows?

i've tried jailbreaking my iphone 2g firmware 2.2 with quickpwn a couple of times but every time it's just stuck at the apple screen when it boots up. i leave it there for very long periods of time, and it's just stuck there... any other alternatives? or what do you think i'm doing wrong? i believe i follow the process correctly, i dont know what i could be doing wrong

start from scratch using DFU mode. (steps below) also follow this guide EXACTLY and dont do anything different. if you have any further questions please ask. there are other alternatives but i dont recomend them at all

I have tried repeatedly using these steps, on my 2G 2.2 iphone, yet when I get to the pineapple it won't run because of the unknown publisher. I disabled all the security settings on advanced internet options, with no luck? Any help would be greatly appreciated because after six tries I'm beyond frustrated. Also I've tried opening the files with different browsers. I'm running Windows XP 2002 professional; for what it's worth. Have a great day and thanks for the advice.

ok i had this problem too, first go into DFU mode, then sync with itunes as a new iphone. Then quickpwn.

And for your other unknown publisher problem make sure you are the main admin account (if that dont work you have to unlock the super secret windows godmin)

As for other methods there is pusher (it sucks only installer and no shh)
or quickpwn renamed and sold to you for a cheap pricre of 130$ !1
