Hey guys. Is there an app out there I can use to hack the wifi of my iphone so I can use Tmobile service to make/receive automatically wifi calling on their hotspot unlimited calling plan? I'm hoping there is as I unlocked my iphone and want to use it for free wifi calling. Please don't reply regarding skype as I don't need to know about that. My question specifically is whether or not I can hack my iphone to use it as a wifi phone with Tmobile's Hotspot unlimited wifi calling service. Thanks so much for your input. -Stu

But are you sure? If the Iphone can make Skype wifi calling, how come it couldn't act as a wifi phone as well for both making/receiving wifi calls?

It doesn't matter that your phone has WiFi. T-Mobile offers several phones that are WiFi enable but do not work with their Unlimited Hotspot@Home calling featured. The technology is UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access). I believe it is hardware driven.

My Blackberry Curve allowed me to make calls using my T-mobile service, but over WiFi, for the places... particularly my house... where T-mobile service sucks. Are there no iPhone apps for this yet? or mods? I love my iPhone, but really don't know how much longer I can bear not being able to make phone calls from my house.... Thanks in advice for any help.
