screen not showing

hie i have iphone 1.1.4 its working everything else like receiving calls itunes but it wont show anything on screen .i just slide it tru to answer call on tht blank screen but not showing who is calling
pliz help

any ideas please

Sounds like a faulty LCD. If its under warranty take it to Apple.

If not, on a 2g you have to buy the entire screen assembly which is gonna run yea around $160 for the part.
