postpublic.net is down, how many people donated?

Just curious if anyone knows what the heck happened with postpublic.net for the iphone. I saw a post about 2 weeks ago about streaming movies using this site, so i checked it out. it was cool, i donated $$ to become a vip member, which was a whole nother problem. anyway, i checked today and the site is just blank with text saying "this account has been suspended". just wondering how many other people got burned by this.

So it is an illegal movies site and got shut down by it's host and you're mad because you helped fund a piracy site that took donations for bandwidth to produce stolen media.

.......... yeah, no sympathy coming on yet. I'll try back later.

Lol I love how Warez and piracy are hated so much here...

For those of you who lost some money, I feel bad... but don't worry so much. If the owners made a backup of their site (and they really got closed down for illegal activities) they might go for another shot and use an overseas server where they can't be penalized. But that's only if they're not jerks and actually care about other people.

I was a moderator there and haven't heard anything from the owner as of yet. I just assume that he either didn't pay his bill, went over his quota, or was shut down for the content. The nice part was that his site was simply just links. All the content is hosted by another service. He just needs to post the site back up on another server and everything is back in business.

No, this site doesnt. Jailbreaking is not pirating. And jailbreaking is not illegal....unless your counting Apple saying it is, last we checked...they were neither the government or any other organization that can actually make laws.

We do not condone pirated/warez and/or cracked what so ever.
