    Default 2.1-2.2 scared and got questions...

    Is Firmware 2.2 okay..? I'm kinda scared, because I've spent so much time on my phone modding it. Are the folders inside are located same or different..? Are they just same except for the new StreetView and stuff..?

    2.2 speeds up overall performance especially with sms and contacts. It adds street view to google maps and has some minor bug fixes. The file structure is exactly the same. Like any other upgrade you want to do a complete restore and set up the phone as new in itunes and then resync all your data. Then manually redownload all your apps.

    2.2 is AWESOME. there are tons of bug fixes and performance is WAY better. Ive had safari crash on me only once. are you running a 3g or a 2g? who is your service provider? these are important factors in recomending going up or not
