vibrate problem?

Whenever I push the rocker to put it on silent it doesn't vibrate. When I put the rocker back on to ring, it does vibrate. It seems like it's working opposite how it should. I only noticed this on my 2G after the 2.2 update. Anyone else experiencing this??

Your right... my 3g 2.2 vibrates when switching to silent, but not when switching back to ring.

I'm just wondering if it's a bug in the 2.2 firmware, or just a hardware problem? I hope it's a hardware problem so I can get a new phone . Mine's getting pretty old looking again. I think it's only on the 2g though, because my friends 3g is running 2.2 and doesn't have this problem.

Is that not how it's supposed to be? Mine's been like that since 1.1.2.

That happened to me, too; right after I removed all of my jailbroken apps in preparation to go to 2.2. Weird...

Mine's working correctly m3thodandr3d has a funny little glitch and is working backwards.
I'm not sure if I would restore just to correct this. Maybe try reset all setting first.
