    Red face Wallpaper wont change!

    hey guys,

as a disclaimer, i already searched.

ok here's the deal. i have a 1st gen 8GB iphone. I have had Jailboken 1.1.4 and 2.0.2. When i Jailbroke on 2.0.2 something happened with Customize (i think) and I could not change my locksreen wallpaper without using Winterboard. I just upgraded to 2.2 and have not jailbroken... acutally i would like to refrain from jailbreaking because of the headache for now.

the problem is: i still cant change my lockscreen wallpaper! even tho i restored and updated to 2.2!!

does anyone know how i can fix my problem? Im sure you guys are gonna suggest i do something thru SSH... ::sigh:: i guess im gonnna have to jailbreak AGAIN...

    anyways. plz help

    tim

^You should have searched better... There's a couple of recent threads on this I believe, but no worries.

Anywho, you pretty much have to jailbreak again so you can SSH in and delete the LockBackground.jpg from /User/Library.

That or you can restore as a new phone...
