Unlocking Legality
Hi
I've subscribe to AT&T so i can have an iPhone
the problem is that i'm going outside the US for a while and i don't want to pay for the expinsive international roaming
so i was thinking about buying a Turbo SIM
but i've done a dummy mistake and i upgraded to 2.2
so is it LEAGL to unlock my iPhone
and if i do so, can i reuse my AT&T sim again ? or I'm gonna lose my subscription ?
or is there anyway to RE-LOCK it ??

2g or 3g??
You can only use a sim-adaptor with a 3g.
On a 2g, you can unlock its not "legal" as far as Apple's concerned, but your not going to jail
And your ATT card will still work, makes no difference.

You CANT unlock the 3g.
You can only use a sim-adaptor.....which, once you take the adaptor back out, is like it was never there.
