iphone 3g 2.1 help

I was trying to mod my iphone 3g 2.1 unlocked so it can play cracked apps and some how i messed it up. it freezes at the apple logo and vibrates and does not do anything else. i tried plugging it into the computer and that dose not help either. i dont know if i can unlock and jailbreak 2.2 if i restore it. i am an iphone noob. what should i do? please help!

That's what you get for trying to play cracked apps.

You can however restore to 2.2 and redo everything and you should be fine...
