Do you have OpenSSH installed? Are you specifying the correct IP for the iPhone?

Is it connecting? On the first attempt of connecting it shows a box that tells you it has timed out and asks you to abort. It is making connection but do not hit abort button and it could take a minute or so but then it will come up with another window about a certificate and just click yes and it should connect.
If anything was usefull a thanks would be great!

Did you happen to install Inteliscreen? Just today I happened to decide to try Intelliscreen out and it killed my wifi. What was really odd is that it showed that I was connected but i couldnt use WinSCP or Fugu on my Mac. I also could not open anything in Safari. I uninstalled Intelliscreen. I still had issues so I installed a program from Cydia called "Backwards Compatibility" and that fixed things. I think that might have corrected the issue if I had left Intelliscreen installed. Thats the problem when you do more than one thing at a time. Never sure which corrected the problem.
