Need serious help.

I have a unlocked and jailbroken 2g iphone. I upgraded to 2.0, 2.1 firmware with pwnage. Everything worked fine for a day. then i went to check my phone and it's off. the only way to get it working was to hold the home and power button. totally fed up with it, so i downgraded to 1.14. now everything is working fine.

i really want to use 2.0 but i can't seem to find a solution to my problem anywhere.

please help or steer me in the right direction.

I think your phone just barfed. I really think you'll be just fine upgrading back.

Why do you want 2.0? I found that 2.1 works well on the 2G iPhone. I run 2.2 on my 3G and that is even better but i haven't upgraded the 2G from 2.1 yet. I did the same thing as you the first time i upgraded the 2G to 2.0. It ran terribly and i downgraded back to 1.1.4. I finally upgraded directly to 2.1 and used winpwn and it works great.

You mention pwnage so I take it you have a mac. I'd recommend restoring to at least 2.1 or better yet 2.2 and re-jailbreaking with pwnage or quickpwn 2.2

same problem with 2.1 and 2.2.* phone keeps shutting down in sleep mode.* DOES ANYONE HAVE A RESOLUTION TO THIS???
