Help Please
Okay, I downloaded font swapper and I tried to swap a font, but it crashed my phone!
All it does is respring, over and over again.
It doesn't show any text when it resprings, so I think that it just deleted my font folder, so could someone upload the WHOLE font folder that is located in system/library/font
please just upload the whole thing, including
GGFontCache
Cache
I'm on 2.2 so I think that matters too.
If you know the problem please tell me
And if the maker of font swap reads this...
please test your app THOROUGHLY before you release it!!
Thank you very much,
mrmurphy

It's been working for me great all day. What you need to do is SSH or iphonebrowser into your phone and delete your com.apple.springboard.plist file. Usually this will fix the SWOD.

im using font swap right now and its working fine for me. please remember its beta. i actually have a backup of that whole folder but im at work right now and its at home. sorry. im sure someone else has it. what you need to launch is "system\library\fonts\cache" specifically the Helvetica fonts (bold and just normal. these will at least launch your your spring board so you can do further stuff. good luck and if no one posts your fonts by the time i get home ill get them up for you.

I'm sorry, but where do I find that
I think it broke, because I accidentally tried to enable the same font twice.

im not sure how this app works. i dont know if it actually replaces the fonts or redirects the plist to another font. im currently using a custom font that i manually installed. try doing this to get you up and running. like i said im not sure whether it will fix it. just follow these instructions here to install the font and then REBOOT the phone by holding the home and power button down for like 5 seconds. keep us updated

This app is in BETA!!!!! as it states very clearly on the loading screen. You always take a risk when using programs still in testing phase. If you ask around you'll find out that MORE often than not BETA programs cause the SWOD many people to have to restore. Just a fact of life in jailbreaking and testing.

Thanks Guys,
I restored my phone. and I didn't read that the app was in beta.
I might consider jailbreaking some other day. But not this one.
I am tired of phone problems.
Thanks for your help.
