Jailbreaking

I've got a iPhone 3G on 2.2. I tried to jailbreak it last night using QuickPwn (on Windows). It would jailbreak it etc and would then say 'Please wait for your iPhone to reboot in it's newly modified state' or something like that. Then it would just stay on the screen with the silver Apple logo. Did this for about 5-10 mins so I decided to put it into recovery mode and restore (not happy). So, any suggestions? How long should it take for it to reboot? HELP!

It only took about 4 and a half for me. Once you disconnect then manually reboot it. What version of Quickpawn?

Once it's done jailbreaking should I disconnect it from the USB for it to then reboot? I'm using the latest version of QucikPwn

Ideally it would reboot on its own. However I did disconnect in from the USB to manually reboot when I jailbroke 2.1 awhile ago. And everything was fine.
