I downloaded this and wanted to try it out. It looks like you need a wifi connection to use it. So I am confused as to why you would need something like this? If I have a wifi connection then obviously I am already on the internet.

I thought the purpose of this is to use the 3G network for a computer that doesn't have a wifi connection in range
