Deleting files from iPhone

I have a original iphone that I had jailbroke and then unjailbroke and I noticed that some of the folders and files that I had created are still on the phone. Is there anyway I can get into the file structure and delete the folders without re-jailbreaking the phone?

Yes, don't perform a "Restore from Backup" after you've restored.
