Gevey Plus Sim and Itunes

Hey
I do have a locked not jailbroken Iphone 3G FW 2.1 (Don't want to)
I do have a Gevey Plus proxysim - works great, but I cannot synch with itunes anymore. Complains about sim not correct.
Is there any way I can synch, cause on gevey instructions it says - no plane mode at any time
Please help, or do I have to change sims everytime I want to synch
