    Default Location of stock ringtones

does anyone know the path to the stock ringtones for 2.0+ and are you just add/edit ringtones in the folder and it'll show up on your phone? Also, is there any way to edit the sms tone? is there some folder for that as well?

    Regular ringtones are in private/var/stash/Ringtones.xxxxxx

Depending on how many times you've "update[d]" instead of "restore[d]", the six digit number after "Ringtones." will be different.

Now I might ask about your intent because if your trying to get some .m4r's on to your phone, you can just sync them through iTunes.

Well I've taken a lot of ringtones that have started showing up in cydia and I'm trying to make a copy of the folder so that if I ever need to restore or anything I have a copy of these ringtones so I wont have to go back and find them all in cydia.

I gotcha. The only reason why I said anything is because I've deleted the folders before (trying to clear out what I thought to be outdated folders). lol, then I was left with only 1 ringtone. Did your cydia ringtones get deposited into your "Ringtones" folder? I'm curious about that.
