    unlock iphone got struck and it wont charge wall or usb,
    battery was low put in in restore mode upgrade customer firmware got a error 1601,
    battery is totally dead now
    plug in wall charger it shows apple logo then shut it by itself, few hrs later it doesnt show the apple logo even plug in a wall charger.

    can this be a dead battery (how do you test the battery)?
    logic board dead?

    Flex cable likely went bad, but could be the mobo. Have to see it to know for sure. Click the flex cable link in my sig and see the likely culprit.
