iPhone crash with lock code?

I'm not sure if this happened previously to the 2.2 firmware or what but i'm on a clean restore non jailbroken and whenever I plug my phone into the pc when it's locked it vibrates until it eventually crashes and restarts. It only stops this when I unplug, wait until it starts up, enter my passcode then plug it in again.

This happens all the time when my phone is locked (with passcode).

Anyone else seeing this problem, or is it isolated?

I would give it another clean restore.

Well it only happens when it's locked with the passcode prompt and all and I plug it in, works fine when it's unlocked.

Has anyone tried this to confirm? I don't want to restore again if it's a firmware issue.

Mine works fine on 2 different 2g's....and a 3g.
